Adam Pruitt

Adam is a freshman at the University of Alabama. He first began playing
music when introduced to the drums by his uncle at the age of 11. After
two years he made the transition to the bass and began playing in local
rock and worship bands. Adam loves music and is always interested in
playing with new people.

Brent Kendrick

If magic had a smell, it would be like that of Brent Kendrick. And it would smell wonderful. A musical genius, Brent utterly destroys all things percussive with his raw ability. In other words, he plays drums and he does quite well doing so while spending his time also annihilating zombies in capture the flag. He also has his hand in Hip-Hop as an MC and producer.

Drew Duvall

Drew Duvall is from Orange County, CA, and has played with multiple musicians and bands across the U.S. His latest musical escapades include electric guitarist to alternative metal Embers in Ashes, drummer to folk band The Strange Decisions, and filling in for other random musicians in the local music scene.

Jonathan Hicks

Jonathan’s music education began in 7th grade and consisted of concert band, marching band, and percussion ensemble which continued through high school. After high school, drum set has been his main outlet for musical expression for the past 10 years. Stylistically he is best suited for pop based rock and roll.

Josh Cannon

Kyle Carpenter

Kyle is a drummer like no other. Kyle is best know for teaching Neil Peart how to play the drums. He currently serves on the worship team at UCF

Landon Rogan

Landon can’t remember when he started walking. Or talking. Or watching TV. Or eating. He can’t remember when he started listening to music. Or when he started playing music. It’s just always been there… in one form or another. He mostly plays drum set and bass guitar, but can strum a guitar and has been known to sit behind the piano a time or two. He manages Birmingham Percussion Center and teaches at Birmingham School of Music.

Michael Battito

Michael comes from Birmingham, AL and currently attends Belmont University in Nashville. Having played drums since the third grade, he picked up the guitar in high school. After graduating from Vestavia High in ’08, he attended the University of Alabama for three semesters majoring in Jazz Studies-Drumset/Percussion Performance until his transfer to Belmont for this current semester. He plans to return to UA in the fall though, after having missed the jazz and the community down in Tuscaloosa. Michael has performed on drums and guitar with many groups around the Birmingham/Tuscaloosa area, including The Markov Chain, Kadesh and the Perfect Strangers, and the UA Jazz Standards Combo.

Neil Couvillion

An up-and-coming singer/songwriter with 15 years of songwriting under his belt and boxes full of lyrics to show for it, Neil Couvillion has now come of age with his debut album Time Machine.   Recorded with the help of some great musicians and friends, his sound has been described as a mix between Patty Griffin and David Gray.

Will McCarley

Will is a drummer from Vestavia Hills, AL. Having graduated in ’09 from Vestavia High, will now goes to school in Birmingham and works at Birmingham Percussion Center. Previously, Will was the drummer and lead singer for the band Solomon Grundy, also from Vestavia.
