Nicole McLean
Born in the deep South in Mobile, Alabama, Nicole has been involved in music since she was a child. She came from a family that continually had records playing and/or instruments resonating throughout her home. At the age of 14, she broke away from playing classical piano and began to study more contemporary forms. It was then that she realized the beauty and art of writing and composing. Since then, she has written a collection of songs that she has been performing since age 18. Now at age 22, her inspiration for her music comes from her spiritual life, encounters with people, and the human condition, in general. Her goal when she plays for whomever may be listening, would be that he or she would enjoy it as much as she enjoys performing it and also begin to connect with something greater than themselves…and in an effort to make this a little less serious, her favorite food is macaroni and cheese…bringing that to a show that she performs in would make you her best friend.
